What started out as one of the most unique private underground supper clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cook With James now offers an array of private chef & catering services including private dinners, cooking classes and catering events. We feature Italian and French inspired dishes of the highest quality, and use only locally grown and farmed organic ingredients.

COOKING CLASS DINNER PARTIES
Gather a group of friends together and attend one of James' regional Italian cooking class dinners, offered weekly at his home in Cole Valley. Don't like to cook but like to eat? No problem, come hang out and watch the action. All classes are $65 a person (unless otherwise noted) and include wine & step-by-step recipes. Way more fun than the book club! Plus you have the chance to win a different Breville kitchen appliance each month. The more you come the greater your chances of winning. PRIVATE DINNER PARTIES
Arrange for a private gourmet dinner in the chef's or your kitchen. Contact James to put together a customized menu for your event suited to your tastes and budget. James can host the event at his Ashbury Heights venue or bring his delectable dinners right to your home. Just sit down at your dinner table, look gorgeous and enjoy! NEW BOOK LAUNCH!I am also very excited that Jenn Garbee's new book, SECRET SUPPERS, is now available in bookstores across the country as well as online. I first spoke to Jenn when she was doing research in November 2006 for an article around underground supper clubs. Since then she has graciously included me in her new book which surveys underground chefs and secret restaurants across the country. You can order the book online or when you come to my dinner. I will have extra copies available for anyone who wants to take one home!
